Extra-marital dating site offer to sponsor Pique’s footy club after Shakira saga

Ashley Madison, the world's leading married dating agency, has made a cheeky offer to sponsor FC Andorra – a second-division Spanish club owned by Gerard Pique.

Pique and Shakira split back in June 2022, over rumours the ex- Barcelona star had been unfaithful to the Colombian singer. Shakira, 45, recently released a new song, Shakira Bzrp Music Sessions 53, where she seemingly named dropped his new flame, Clara Chia Marti.

The extra-marital dating site has made the cheeky offer to Pique – which they added will inject an extra €1million each year into the club. However, they also joked there will be a €50,000 bonus for each player that has a story about a non-monogamous relationship published in the media.

Christoph Kraemer, Managing Director Europe for Ashley Madison, said: “Former world champion Gerard Piqué is one of the best-known Spanish footballers internationally and has been the majority owner of FC Andorra for some years.

"Under his guidance, the club has enjoyed an impressive run of successes. We know from our research that many of Ashley Madison's members are also huge soccer fans.

"It appears that Mr. Piqué has led a non-monogamous lifestyle, at least as reported by the world's media and in his ex-Shakira’s last few songs. A sponsorship of FC Andorra is, therefore, consistent with our brand values.

"As a brand, we believe that non-monogamy should be lived without prejudice. It is for this reason that we are convinced that this sponsorship would be mutually beneficial.”

Pique has already been snapped with his new beau, Clara. The 23-year-old is a PR student, having worked for Pique's events production company, Kosmos. The pair had been snapped together in public heading to a wedding together on the Costa Brava in Catalonia, last August.

The snaps reportedly left Shakira fuming, who claimed she had made a pact with Pique not to go official with new partners for at least one year after they separated.
