Erling Haaland bags twice off bench as fans insist ‘give Man City title’ already
Manchester City's pre-season victory had some fans already conceding the Premier League title after defeating Yokohama F. Marinos 5-3.
The Treble winners have started off their preparations for the new season with a trip to Japan where they took on the J1 League side before they face Bayern Munich on Wednesday (July 26).
While there was much excitement over City's first game since their Champions League triumph over Inter Milan last month, the Premier League champions found themselves 2-0 down before the 40th minute.
However, much like Pep Guardiola's side, they weren't down for long as they scored two goals in three minutes before half time thanks to John Stones and Julian Alvarez.

Following the break, City made wholesale changes as Guardiola introduced the likes of Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva, and Erling Haaland.
In true Haaland fashion, the powerhouse striker netted just seven minutes after coming on as he put City in front before Rodri followed up his Champions League heroics with a goal to put his side 4-2 up.

While the Japanese side pulled one back to lessen the score-line, City's Norwegian machine doubled his tally for the game in stoppage time which drew out many compliments for the reigning PFA Player of the Year.
One fan wrote: "Erling Haaland doesn't know preseason" while another quite confidently said: "I’m taking this Haaland of every version of Ronaldo".
A third stated they believe: "Erling Haaland is breaking his own PL record next season" while a fourth commented on the 23-year-old's penchant for tap-ins as they tweeted: "Never seen him not score a tap in. Nevertheless he is still the best player in the world atm".
Throughout the tweets praising the striker, Arsenal caught a stray from a user who said that the Japanese club: "Gave us a better fight than Arsenal ever did".
Haaland's debut season at City certainly went down in history after netting 52 goals in 53 games including a record-breaking 36 Premier League goals.
He led the club to a historic Treble-winning season but his impressive goal tally surprisingly wasn't up to his standards as he admitted he should have scored more in an interview last season.
“I didn’t expect to score this many goals but I’ve been missing a lot of chances, so I could have scored more," he revealed.
