Erik ten Hag isn’t the only person at Man Utd frustrated by the Glazers

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is growing frustrated at the delay to a potential takeover, according to reports. The 53-year-old wants clarity as he looks to splash the cash in the summer transfer window. Mason Mount is a priority target, while Harry Kane is also on the Dutchman’s radar.
The Glazers confirmed back in November they were open to potentially selling United, having ruled the roost ever since 2005.
But there’s still no indication they’ll definitely be departing, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim both keen to acquire the club.
According to The Telegraph, Ten Hag has frustrations. What’s more, they’re ‘shared internally within the club’.
There are fears that the uncertainty will impact United’s transfer plans, with Mount now a priority target for the club.
Chelsea are yet to agree a new deal with the England international and a departure could be on the cards as they look to tinker with their squad.

Liverpool are keen on landing the 24-year-old as Jurgen Klopp seeks an improved season next time out.
But it’s United who now appear to be favourites in the race to sign Mount, who struggled for Chelsea this season.
Ten Hag is ‘confident’ he’ll be able to persuade Mount to move to Old Trafford.
And the Dutchman would also like the club to recruit Kane from Tottenham as well.
The England international was a shining light for Spurs, hitting 30 Premier League goals despite a dire season in north London.

But Tottenham haven’t sold a single player to the Red Devils since allowing Dimitar Berbatov to cross the divide in 2008.
And whether United are able to acquire Kane remains to be seen.
Meanwhile, speaking on Sunday, Roy Keane had his say on the possibility of both Mount and Kane moving to Old Trafford.
“I hope it’s United, obviously depending on the takeover and recruitment,” he said when asked who can challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title next season.
“They have to get a world-class striker but it’s going to be difficult because City are brilliant with a great, great manager.

“I wouldn’t be so sure about Mount.
“They’re going to be linked with lots of players but the one that would excite you really is Kane.”
When asked to elaborate on Mount specifically, Keane added: “He’s just gone off the boil a little bit.
“I know he can bounce back and he’s got qualities and I was raving about him a few years ago.
“He’s just gone missing the last year or two, had one or two injuries, the fact he can’t get in a bad Chelsea team.
“I wouldn’t be hanging my hat too much on him in terms of improving United and closing the gap.
“I think he’s a good player but would he improve United? I’m not so sure.
“I think [Declan[] Rice would, he would be a decent signing but in terms of the excitement and goalscoring, they’ve got to go for Kane but can you see Spurs selling to United?
“Very, very difficult.”
