Erik ten Hag adopts high-tech method to ensure Man Utd tactics are exactly right
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is using drones to monitor training sessions to make sure his tactics are spot on ahead of the return of the Premier League later this month.
The Dutchman, who has had a mixed start to life in English football, will be hoping to end the season on a high by getting United back into the Champions League.
To help the team get there, he's asking coaches to fly drones above United's Aon Training Complex in order monitor sessions from above, providing the squad with unprecedented performance analysis.

Every session is filmed so they can be later broken down and presented back to Ten Hag.
It's understood his staff have also been speaking to cycling coaches, involved in last year's Tour de France, asking for advice on diet and sleep patterns.
Ten Hag is no stranger to complex training methods. The former Ajax manager is a meticulous planner and a fiercely demanding tactician, and over the summer he ran his players ragged with a ruthless fitness regime after calling them in for pre-season training two weeks early.

Initially it worked wonders, with United smashing Liverpool 4-0 in a pre-season friendly, but a torrid start in the Premier League put paid to the momentum they'd built up over the summer.
The Red Devils, who return to action in the EFL Cup tonight (Weds, Dec 21) against Burnley, are currently fifth in the table. They welcome Nottingham Forest to Old Trafford on December 27 before seeing out the year with a trip to Wolves on New Year's Eve.
