Erik ten Hag admits giving Man Utd players half-time rollicking in dressing room
Erik ten Hag admitted to giving his Manchester United stars a half-time talking to during their 3-0 win over Everton.
Watching on from the stands as he served his touchline ban at Goodison Park, Ten Hag saw his side race into the lead thanks to an overhead kick for the ages from Alejandro Garnacho.
But aside from that stunning moment, the opening 45 minutes wasn't great viewing for the United boss. The hosts battled back to find an equaliser, forcing Andre Onana into four saves.

Heading down to the dressing room at the break, Ten Hag wasn't happy with how the game had gone after the opener – and let his feelings be known, as revealed in his post-match interview with Sky Sports.
He said: "After the start of the game we were too easy-going. I criticised the team at half-time. They thought they were already there. You can't do that.

Not only was Ten Hag pleased United gained much more control on the game, but he was also happy to see skipper Bruno Fernandes pass up the spot kick so Rashford had the chance to end a run of 13 club games without a goal.
"He assessed his team-mate needed that goal. He has the confidence in Rashy, who is a good penalty taker. As a team you need that leadership that you back each other," Ten Hag praised.
