Diego Costa left wincing in pain as he is stretchered off against Tottenham
Diego Costa had to be stretched off during Wolves' clash with Tottenham on Saturday after he went down unchallenged after 28 minutes.
The Spaniard appeared to land awkwardly however Wolves are yet to confirm where Costa suffered the discomfort. He was stretched off the field, with his head in his hands, to be replaced by Raul Jiminez.
Wolves fans are fearing he could be sidelined for some time with the 34-year-old having a history of knee injuries. Costa's injury is the latest for Wolves in a series of injuries that has kept strikers out for some time.

Costa was signed on a free transfer over the summer from Atletico Mineiro following an injury to Sasa Kalajdzic.
Kalajdzic, who had impressed in the Bundesliga, was touted for success in the midlands – but three days after he moved to the Premier League, he went down injured against Southampton. It was later confirmed the Austrian had torn his ACL.
And the injury set off a series of chain reactions, that eventually lead Costa to joining Wolves.

Wolves shocked Tottenham thanks to a late goal from Adama Traore – boosting their survival hopes.
Julen Lopetegui's side are now 13th in the league, having been in danger of being dragged into a relegation scrap. Spurs, on the other hand, could yet fall out of the Champions League spots with the loss.
