Cristiano Ronaldo was snapped looked disgusted after Manchester United conceded against Southampton on Saturday. The Red Devils have gone into the game hoping to bounce back after recent disappointing results against Middlesbrough and Burnley. Yet despite starting brightly at Old Trafford, they’ve again been pegged back.
Manchester United started well against Southampton.
And they took a first half lead through Jadon Sancho, with the bright England international tapping in from close range after some splendid work from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford.
However, United then started to drop off just before the interval.
Moments after the restart, Southampton then grabbed a deserved leveller with Che Adams’ crisp finish sailing past David De Gea and into the bottom corner.
And BT Sport cameras picked up Ronaldo’s reaction to the goal, with the Portugal international wearing a frustrated and disgusted expression on his face.
Bruno Fernandes, standing next to his compatriot, also looked unhappy.

United had, prior to the winter break, started to come good.
They beat Brentford 3-1 at the Community Stadium before battling their way to a vital 1-0 win over West Ham at Old Trafford.
However, since then, results have disappointed.
United were knocked out of the FA Cup by Middlesbrough, despite Ralf Rangnick’s side dominating the game and creating many chances throughout the 120 minutes.
Anthony Elanga’s fluffed spot-kick in the shootout, in the end, saw their hopes of glory ruthlessly ended at the Theatre of Dreams.

United then played well against Burnley in midweek.
However, despite taking a lead through Paul Pogba, they ended up slumping to a disappointing draw.
Ronaldo is looking to avoid going six games without a goal, his longest scoring drought since his time at Real Madrid a decade ago.
And Rangnick, speaking before the game, insisted the veteran must find the net more.
However, he also insisted that all of his players, not just Ronaldo, had been guilty of bad finishing in recent matches.
“It’s not only about Cristiano Ronaldo,” the German said.
“We should score more goals, it’s obvious, I think we are creating enough chances and and enough opportunities in the last couple of games but we just didn’t score enough goals.
“But this is not only an issue with Cristiano, it’s an issue with the other players, especially the offensive players. We don’t score enough goals.
“If you bear in mind how many chances we create, and this is also something that needs to get better in the next couple of weeks.
“At Burnley, in 70 of those 90 minutes, it was very, very, very close to the game plan we spoke before the game and now it’s about rewarding ourselves and also getting the results we should deserve.”
