Conor McGregor makes himself Chelsea boss in video game amid takeover talk
Conor McGregor has shared a quite brilliant animated video of himself as Chelsea boss.
The Irish fighter recently chucked his hat in the ring to take over the Blues following the revelation that Roman Abramovich is officially looking to sell.
McGregor had initially posted online a screen of a conversation with an unknown party where he states his ambition to buy the west London club.
He tweeted along with it: "I wish to explore this. @ChelseaFC."
But then, to take matters further, he then shared a video, thought to be taken off the eFootball franchise, of him as the Chelsea boss.
In the game, you can customise how your player looks, and the 33-year-old made a character with the skin fade and scraggly beard.
Online reaction has gone down a storm.
One said: “Maybe Conor is one of the 6-man consortium. You never know. I hate this consortium thing passionately.”
Another wrote: “Please buy the club. I would love to see the Premier League‘s chairman‘s and owners meeting when you rock up it would be legendary.”
A third said: “Cant take care of the octagon ring but wanna take care of an insitution like Chelsea.”
