CHRIS SUTTON offers his predictions for this weekend's Premier League

Man City will make light work of hapless Chelsea, Newcastle should clinch Champions League football and Liverpool to continue their winning run – Mail Sport’s CHRIS SUTTON offers his predictions for this weekend’s Premier League action

  • Sutton has run the rule over the latest round of fixtures in the top flight
  • City are on track for their third consecutive Premier League title this weekend
  • Frank Lampard says Chelsea WILL give them a guard of honour if necessary

On the Premier League’s penultimate weekend, only the club at the bottom of the table – Southampton – has their fate this season assured.

But this spate of matches will go some way to changing that, with a win for Manchester City against Chelsea set to anoint them title winners for the third season in a row.

After beating Brighton on Thursday, Newcastle can also seal Champions League football next season with a win against relegation-threatened Leicester.

But as well as the race for the European places, there’s plenty of tension lower down the table as Leeds, Everton, Leicester, and Nottingham Forest all battle for crucial points to ensure their top-flight safety.

Here, Mail Sport’s CHRIS SUTTON offers his predictions for this weekend’s action.

Manchester City will almost certainly be crowned Premier League champions on Sunday

Newcastle will be guaranteed Champions League competition with a win against Leicester

Tottenham 1 Brentford 1

No Ivan Toney for Brentford but I see them getting something here against a side that don’t inspire me under Ryan Mason.

Bournemouth 1 Manchester United 2

A lot is at stake for United so I fancy them to win, and they will be helped with Bournemouth safe from relegation.

Fulham 2 Crystal Palace 1

Eberechi Eze has been a class act for Palace recently but I fancy Fulham. They’re playing with creativity and freedom.

Liverpool 3 Aston Villa 1

Villa could frustrate on the counter-attack but Liverpool have looked unstoppable in the last seven games and I fancy them to win both final games in their late top-four push.

Wolves 1 Everton 1

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is fit and he is crucial to Everton’s safety bid. But Wolves are well drilled and I reckon this one will be a draw.

Nottingham Forest 1 Arsenal 1

Arsenal have lacked control in so many games recently but Forest, in front of a raucous crowd, will scrap for everything and perhaps grind out a draw.

With just two weeks to go, Manchester United must shore up their hold on a UCL spot

Liverpool’s seven-game winning run has them aspiring to a future in the Champions League

Ex-title contenders Arsenal have often looked undone as the season has drawn to a close

Sam Allardyce’s side held Newcastle to a draw at home but remain in desperate need of points

West Ham 0 Leeds 0

Leeds have won two away games this season and will sit back here to try to nick a late goal. I don’t think it will work and can see a bore draw.

Brighton 2 Southampton 0

Southampton will frustrate Brighton but I don’t think they will be able to go toe to toe with Roberto De Zerbi’s men.

Manchester City 5 Chelsea 0

I witnessed City smash Real Madrid and it was amazing. Chelsea don’t have a plan and will get picked apart.

Newcastle 3 Leicester 1

Leicester’s defence is not strong enough, despite Jonny Evans’s return. They won’t be able to cope with Newcastle.

Chelsea have looked rudderless under Frank Lampard and are set to be swept aside by City
