A Chelsea supporter has complained that Jorginho left him “disappointed” by signing two shirts which were meant for his team-mate Christian Pulisic.

Chelsea are in Los Angeles on a pre-season tour which will also see them visit Las Vegas, Charlotte and Orlando. Thomas Tuchel put his side through their paces in a training session in LA on Monday, where some local fans gathered to get a glimpse of their heroes.

Justin was one of them – an American who is a big fan of his compatriot Pulisic. The youngster took two shirts, one of the US national team and one of Pulisic’s former side Borussia Dortmund, along to the Drake Stadium in LA to try and get the USA attacker to sign them.

Unfortunately for him, he was unsuccessful. And in a bizarre twist, he got something else which he hadn’t bargained for: Jorginho’s scribble on his Pulisic jerseys.

“Yesterday I attempted to get @cpulisic_10 to sign his USA & Dortmund kits at Chelsea training (he didn't),”Justin wroteon Twitter. “Instead Jorginho shockingly walked up and immediately signed both without asking. I have no idea why, nobody else did. My jerseys are now ruined and I'm very disappointed.”

As evidence, the Pulisic fan then posted a video which showed Jorginho approaching the barriers where he was waiting, before signing both shirts in front of him.

Asked by a commenter why he didn’t ask him to stop, Justin replied: “I should've. I regret not doing so, but I was simply shocked. Tuchel and many other players walked by without thinking I wanted them to sign them. I didn't expect that at all.”

Justin has not received much sympathy. “Stop being ungrateful. Jorginho is top class,” one Chelsea fan wrote. “Bro you just got 2 signed shirts from someone who came like 2nd in the ballon d’or,” another added.

“Be thankful he signed it. You turned up to a Chelsea training session with a Dortmund shirt,” one commenter wrote. “Be grateful you got a player to sign a shirt, most fans would kill to get the chance to get a signed shirt,” another added. “I've got a Jorginho one signed by Pulisic here if you want to swap,” another joked.

After his post went viral, Justin wrote: “At least I can take solace in the fact that this is bringing people a good laugh.”
