Chelsea: Tuchel provides Blues transfer update
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has been tasked with getting the best of out the Blues’ summer recruits. The German has replaced Frank Lampard at the helm after a poor run of results, despite over £200million being spent on new players ahead of the 2020/21 season.
Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and Ben Chilwell were among the high-profile arrivals but they have struggled to click so far.
However, Tuchel is not expecting any new additions before the January deadline.
He said: “No, [no gaps to fill] but it is hard for me to judge right now. I am very happy with what I have seen so far.”

Erling Haaland price
Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland could be allowed to leave for just £66m this summer, according to reports.
The Norwegian striker is in high demand after carrying over his prolific form from RB Salzburg to the Bundesliga following his move last January.
His contract has a £66m release clause, which will become active in the summer of 2022.
But Ok Diario claims Dortmund may allow the 20-year-old to leave for the same price at the end of the season.
The German outfit reportedly need funds due to a financial crisis at the club.
Haaland has emerged as a target for Chelsea but they will face competition from the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid.
Thomas Tuchel ‘loves’ David Alaba
Tuchel is said to be huge fan of Bayern Munich defender David Alaba.
However, the Blues would have to compete with Real Madrid should they decide to make move for the 28-year-old.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims Tuchel “loves” Alaba, who is out of contract in the summer.
“I see a lot of rumours about (David) Alaba who Tuchel loves,” Romano told Frank Khalid’s YouTube channel.
“But he wants to join Real Madrid so it won’t be easy to go this kind of player.”
‘Crazy’ Josh Doig speculation
Hibernian left-back Josh Doig says it is “crazy” being linked to the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal.
The 18-year-old made his debut in August and has impressed under Jack Ross.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Celtic are all reported interested, along with Manchester City and Leeds United.
When talking about being linked to a host of top clubs, Doig said: “It’s crazy seeing your name everywhere but it’s good to know that all the hard work I am putting in is getting the attention of the big clubs.
“It is crazy for me but it’s good. What’s for you won’t go by you if you put all the hard work in but seeing all these big teams interested, it’s unbelievable.”
