Chelsea have seemingly identified Achraf Hakimi as a top target for the summer transfer window and Marina Granovskaia is hoping to help fund a bid with a player-plus-cash deal. Inter Milan won Serie A last season with Hakimi enjoying a breakthrough campaign under Antonio Conte.

The Morocco international finished the season with seven goals and 10 assists in the league, playing in a more advanced role down the right wing.

Hakimi has shown a versatility to play at right back as well as further forward in joining in the attack.

And his performances have seemingly alerted some of the best teams in Europe with Inter apparently open to offers.

The Italian side are reportedly facing financial issues this summer and have made a number of players available on the transfer market.

Hakimi is attracting plenty of attention and Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is apparently keen to bring him into his squad.

It’s been suggested that Inter are hoping to receive offers in the region of £68.8million for Hakimi.

But Chelsea are hoping to bring down that asking price in a player-plus-cash offer.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea are ready to offer Ruben Loftus-Cheek as part of the deal to sign Hakimi.

DON’T MISS

Loftus-Cheek enjoyed a strong season at Chelsea back in 2018/19 under Maurizio Sarri, playing a key role in helping the Blues win the Europa League.

But he’s since struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge and was loaned out to Fulham last season.

And it appears as though Loftus-Cheek will not be a part of Thomas Tuchel’s plans past this summer.

It’s not claimed how much including the 25-year-old in a deal for Hakimi will bring down Inter’s asking price.

However, he is valued at £16.2m on Transfermarkt and has three years remaining on his contract.

Chelsea are also in the market to sign an out-and-out striker this summer with both Harry Kane and Erling Haaland being linked.

Either striker would reportedly cost close to £150million while another centre-back is also on Tuchel’s wishlist.

Roman Abramovich is expected to back Tuchel in the transfer market though after leading the Blues to Champions League glory.
