Jorginho has bluntly denied claims he could leave Chelsea, suggesting “there’s no point even talking about it”. The Italian struggled for minutes under Frank Lampard, but has become a regular under Thomas Tuchel in the second half of the season.
Despite that, the midfielder’s agent, Joao Santos, hinted there was a chance his client could return to Serie A.
“Sarri at Napoli with Jorginho is a wonderful idea,” Santo said earlier this year. “The player has two-and-a-half years left on his contract with Chelsea and an important salary.
“It’s possible on a football level, certainly. We’d have to see what De Laurentiis thinks. Naples is a city that Jorginho loves very much, which marked an important part of his career.”
However, speaking shortly after the Blues’ FA Cup final defeat to Leicester, Jorginho has said there is no chance he will leave come the end of the season.

“It feels great after three years and I know everyone here appreciates what I try to do for the club and for the people,” he explained.
“So it feels like home now in England. How could I want to leave the club?
“I’ve got two more years and like I said, I really feel at home here. So there’s no point actually even talking about it [the possibility of a transfer].
“And we have only just started under Thomas [Tuchel] – we’ve got a lot more to do here.”
Jorginho is clearly enjoying life at Stamford Bridge under Tuchel, suggesting his predecessor lacked the experience to thrive at such a big club.

“Look, I’ll be really sincere here on Lampard. I believe, given he was a legend at the club, he skipped some steps necessary for learning before moving to a big club,” Jorginho told ESPN.
“He came to a club where he is a legend, without having experience at other clubs. I think he came too soon, skipped a few steps ahead and wasn’t ready for a job at this level, to be honest.”
Under the German, he has become a mainstay in the starting XI, but his place has come under threat after he was blamed for Leicester’s winner at Wembley.
Chelsea legend Joe Cole suggested Youri Tielemans’ goal exposed a major weakness in his game and one which could see him out come out of the team for the Champions League final vs Manchester City.
“There are holes in this games and that’s one of them,”said Cole. “He knew he didn’t have the legs to get there, so he’s trying to dictate to people around him.
“There will always be frailties. I’m not worried about in the week when he gave the ball away [for Arsenal’s goal] because that’s very rare, but that happens a lot in his game.
“I think now Thomas Tuchel when he’s thinking about the Champions League final, you can’t leave Phil Foden or Riyad Mahrez in that situation, you’ve got to get out there.
“I don’t want to take anything away from the strike, but from a Chelsea performance and a defensive perspective, if you’re playing that role, first and foremost before anything you do with the ball you’ve got to stop that from happening, and he didn’t do that tonight.
“Tuchel’s got a big decision, not only Tuesday night [against Leicester] but in the Champions League final. Jorginho’s a fabulous player on the ball but there are holes in his game.”
