Manchester United legend Antonio Valencia has featured on a tattoo covering the entire bottom half of a leg.

The Ecuadorian, who won six major titles during his 10 seasons at Old Trafford, announced his retirement from the sport earlier this month.

Since leaving in 2019 for his home country and now Mexico this season, the 35-year-old used his spare time to come up with a new look.

And Valencia has now got involved in tattooing, with an image of the former defender being used to cover the entire bottom half of a leg.

A video was shared on the Ecuadorian’s Instagram channel of a friend getting the tattoo on their left leg.

The lucky recipient had their limb covered with a snap of the 35-year-old celebrating the Europa League trophy win from 2017.

Valencia spent 10 years at Old Trafford, scoring 25 goals in 339 appearances for the Red Devils and winning two Premier League titles, two League Cups, one FA Cup and the Europa League.

The right-wingback departed the club in 2019 and moved to Ecuadorian outfit LDU Quito, before enjoying a brief stint with Mexican side Queretaro.

But now he has come to the decision to bow out from the sport in his mid-30s, admitting "my body has asked me to make this decision".

The Ecuadorian wrote in a post on social media: "I will never forget everything I experienced at Old Trafford. I will never forget every goal, every trophy, and the wonderful fans.

"I did not think this moment would come so soon, but my body has asked me to make this decision. I am announcing my retirement from football.
