Chelsea match Hakimi offer, Abramovich wants Kane, Tuchel handed reunion blow

Chelsea are set for a busy summer with Thomas Tuchel looking to mould the Blues squad to his liking – as the German looks to push for the Premier League title.

A plethora of world-class names have been linked with the current champions of Europe, however, new faces won't come without exits.

Under Tuchel, Chelsea improved enough for a top-four finish, and they claimed the Champions League, but Tuchel is still in charge of Frank Lampard's squad, and he will want to bring in some of his own signings.

And Daily Star Sport have rounded up all the day's transfer news for the Blues.

Chelsea match Hakimi offer

Chelsea have matched Paris Saint-Germain's £56.1million for Inter Milan's wing-back Achraf Hakimi.

Hakimi looks set to leave Milan – after only one season in Italy – following the departure of former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte earlier this month: however, their offer still remains short of Inter's asking price.

Sky Italia are reporting that Chelsea are favourites for the Moroccan due to Inter's interest in the Blues' duo of Emerson and Andreas Christensen.

Blow for Julian Weigl

Reports from Portuguese outlet, O Jogo, suggest that Benfica manager, Jorge Jesus, has asked the board to keep Rafa Silva and Julian Weigl for next season.

Weigl had previously been linked to Chelsea, and he had worked under Tuchel during the pair's spell at Borussia Dortmund – where he was considered as one of Europe's must-see talents.

The German does have a £100million release clause, but Chelsea want to pay around £30million.

Abramovich wants Kane

Roman Abramovich has made Harry Kane his number one priority, above Dortmund's Erling Haaland, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

Di Marzio claims that Abramovich believes a deal for Kane will be easier to strike than securing Haaland's services.

Chelsea are ready to spend around £60million for the English international, way off what Spurs value their star asset.
