Chelsea are reportedly drawing out a plan to sign Joao Felix permanently from Atletico Madrid in the summer. But interest in Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic is said to remain high as Graham Potter eyes his own attacking reinforcements ahead of a transfer window of change at Stamford Bridge.
Felix has scored just twice in nine appearances since joining Chelsea on loan in January, but he has played an integral role in the recent upturn in results.
According to GiveMeSport, Atleti are set to demand almost £100million to permanently part ways with the 23-year-old forward this summer.
And talks are scheduled to take place soon to understand the La Liga giants’ stance after refusing to place an obligation to buy or a first option clause in his Chelsea contract.
The report claims Atleti want to cash in on Felix this summer but will not prioritise Chelsea as a potential destination if they receive interest from elsewhere in Europe.
Christian Nkunku’s pending arrival from RB Leipzig may complicate things. As will the continued uncertainty over Romelu Lukaku’s future in west London.

GMS add that in the background, Chelsea remain firmly interested in signing Vlahovic amid other Premier League interest.
Juventus may have to raise funds by selling players this summer after a 15-point deduction left Maximiliano Allegri with an almighty task to qualify for the Champions League.
And Chelsea are said to be the English outfit most keen on luring him from Turin if he becomes available for a good price.
He could represent a cheaper alternative to Felix, but it’s hard to envisage a scenario where Potter recruits both on top of Nkunku.
Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be monitoring Vlahovic’s situation ahead of Harry Kane’s potential summer exit.

Vlahovic hasn’t lived up to his prolific reputation at Juventus this season, netting 11 times in 28 games and failing to score in his last six Serie A appearances.
The Serbian striker joined in a £63m deal in January 2022 after scoring 49 goals in 108 games for Fiorentina.
But there have been rumblings that all isn’t well at The Old Lady, and the chance to jump to the Premier League could entice him.
For now, Felix appears to be Chelsea’s priority amid the club’s unlikely late push for a top-four place, with Tottenham and Liverpool continuing to falter.
