Chelsea are considering a summer move for Wolves defender Max Kilman, according reports. 

Thomas Tuchel faces losing three centre backs this summer with Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen all out of contract at the end of the season.

Kilman has been a standout performer under Bruno Lage this season as Wolves have climbed up the table into the race for top four.

The Midlands outfit now sit just six points off Manchester United with two games in hand over the fourth-placed side. 

The Blues’ scouts have been monitoring the 24-year-old and were at Molineux for Wolves’ 2-1 win over Leicester on Sunday, according to talkSPORT.

Chelsea boss Tuchel will be keen to bring in at least one centre back this summer amid the possibility of a trio of defensive exits at Stamford Bridge.

Germany international Antonio Rudiger is also out of contract at the end of the campaign

The west Londoners looked to bring Sevilla’s Jules Kounde in last summer but a deal fell through after a breakdown of negotiations with the Spanish side. 

The Blues are said to be interested in returning for the 23-year-old once the transfer window reopens at the end of the season. 

The Frenchman is seen as one of the brightest young talents in European football and reportedly remains a top priority for the Chelsea bosses.
