Charlton 4-4 Ipswich descends into madness with four stoppage time goals
Charlton vs Ipswich descended into a goal bonanza after the 90th minute when four goals were scored in the space of nine minutes to end the match 4-4 at the Valley.
Incredibly, the game started off in dire fashion after the first-half with both teams eyeing promotion from League One this season. But that all changed as soon as the referee blew his whistle with seven goals scored in the second-half.
And the Addicks had to claw back a point after coming back twice in the same 45 minutes – but there are not many better in the world than their one right at the death.

Ipswich star Freddie Ladapo gave the visitors the lead in the 91st minute before Sam Morsy must have thought he made sure of all three points. But there was another twist to the tale.
Just over a minute later and Terell Thomas had roped one back – causing panic in the Ipswich ranks. And then there was delirium from the Charlton fans who had not left early when George Dobson scored the equaliser in the 99th minute.
It prevents the Hatters from overtaking Plymouth at the top of the table, who also now have a game in hand over their rivals. Charlton, on the other hand, go up to ninth – in a division that is extremely tight.
Ben Garner's men had already had to come back from two goals down when Ipswich raced into a 2-0 lead shortly after the second-half began. George Edmundson netted just before half-time while Tyreece John-Jules doubled the score in the 52nd minute.
Crystal Palace loanee Jesurun Rak-Sakyi grabbed one back before Albie Morgan netted the equaliser. Well, he thought he did until the real game began after the 90th minute.
