Broken Goldbridge ‘nearly cries’ in meltdown watching Arsenal winner vs Man Utd

Arsenal fans have claimed they've "broken" Manchester United superfan Mark Goldbridge after Eddie Nketiah notched a 90th-minute winner on Sunday.

Nketiah sent the Emirates into dreamland when he bundled the ball into the back of the net in the 90th minute. The Gunners are now five points clear at the summit of the table after they reached the 50-point mark against the Red Devils.

And some Gunners fans have joked they have "broken" United and their short-lived title charge. United had been flying high last week, having beaten Manchester City, but the Red Devils have since drawn to Crystal Palace and lost to the Gunners.

Goldbridge had been live streaming his reaction to the game, on his popular YouTube channel The United Stand.

The United fan looked visibly gutted when Nketiah scored, leading to him slamming the table and putting his head in his hands. Arsenal fans joked he was going to cry as Goldbridge looked emotional when he glanced back at the screen.

Other Arsenal fans took aim at United's "title challenge." The Red Devils had seemingly muscled their way into the two-horse race between City and Arsenal, but they now find themselves 11 points off the pace.

One Gunner joked: "Man United have gone from 'title challengers' to clinging onto fourth place in the space of a few days. Remarkable."
