Pundit and former England international Micah Richards burst into song after full-time as England cemented their place in the Euro 2020 final.
The 60,000 strong Wembley Stadium crowd created a spine-tingling atmosphere long after the final whisle as England overcame Denmark in the semi-finals on Wednesday night.
Gareth Southgate’s side conceded first from a free-kick until a Danish own goal levelled the score, taking the game to extra-time before Raheem Sterling won the penalty leading up to captain Harry Kane’s winner.
At that point Wembley erupted, leading to celebrations all around the stadium as BBC’s Richards and presenter Mark Chapman sang along with the passionate crowd.
The duo can be heard in a BBC Sounds clip singing along to Neil Diamond’s classic lyrics‘Touching me, touching you’ before England fans continue the rest of the song.
Richards can be heard in the background ecstatically bellowing: "I've never seen anything like it, Chappers! I'm in dreamland!"
Chapman responds with: “I’ll tell you what. Neil Diamond could build himself a new mansion just based on royalties from England sporting events.”
Richards can then be heard laughing and rejoicing as he continues singing with the crowd.
