Ben White injury sees Arsenal fans panic as Arteta’s team ‘finished without him’
Arsenal's Ben White hobbled off during their Leeds United clash with Brighton on Tuesday evening, throwing the Gunners' season into chaos.
White arrived from Mikel Arteta's over the summer for £50million, and the Englishman has impressed at the heart of Mikel Arteta's defence.
And after an equally impressive first-half on Tuesday evening, Arsenal fans were left worried when White limped off.
While the centre-back did walk off the pitch, White was visibly in discomfort as he walked past his manager down the tunnel.
White's absence wasn't sorely missed against Marcelo Bielsa's struggling side, but Gunners fans are still worried about the rest of the season.
"I really hope Ben is okay. We're finished without him," one fan tweeted after seeing White leave the field.
Another added: "Whites done. Stupid playing him tonight. Just settling in & playing well. Ffs. What a massive risk. Hoping it’s not serious."
"There was no need to risk him for this useless competition and now we lost him for the important league games," a third fumed.
A fourth added: "Praying for Ben White’s injury to be something minor. Dreading the idea of Holding against Leicester’s strikers."
