Arsenal are interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan N’Dicka but they are not the only club who have been linked with a move for him. The 21-year-old has impressed in the Bundesliga this season, helping Frankfurt rise up the table.
Adi Hutter’s side currently sit fourth in the league, two points above Borussia Dortmund, and N’Dicka has been an important part of their form this season.
As a result, the defender has also been linked with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Southampton and Liverpool.
However, Express Sport understands that Arsenal have already held talks with N’Dicka’s representatives about a move to the Emirates.
His current contract is set to expire in 2023 and he is said to be worth around £19m.

According to Frankfurter Neue Presse, N’Dicka’s value is rising and clubs will have to “dig deep” in order to prise him away.
However, Arsenal do hold an advantage over the other interested parties, with the club already having a strong relationship with the player’s agent Michael N’Cho Ibou.
He helped broker the deal which saw Nicolas Pepe join the Gunners in 2019 for a club-record £72m.
Arsenal have remained in contact with the agent and their pre-existing relationship could help them in their pursuit of N’Dicka.

The Gunners currently sit tenth in the Premier League table but they still harbour ambitions of qualifying for next season’s Champions League via the Europa League.
They hold a 3-1 advantage going into the second leg of their last 16 tie against Olympiacos and if they can win the competition then a spot in the Champions League awaits.
Arsenal legend Thierry Henry believes his former club have made progress under Mikel Arteta but they need to be more consistent.
Speaking on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, Henry said: “First and foremost, I would say yes [Arsenal have made progress], in a way, because I think Mikel brought himself some time by winning the FA Cup last year.
“I know people will tell me, ‘yes, that’s last year’, but the way he won it and the team he won it against, I think brought him some time with the Arsenal fans and with the team because at the end of the day you have something to show at the end of the season.
“Now, what I think the team is lacking is consistency. I know people always use the word consistency, it’s a big word, but this is what they need to do.
“Right now, I think the squad is good. Can it be better, yes? Was there any progress? I think there was progress.
“Was there any structure, are they doing better? The table doesn’t lie at the end of the day.”
