Arsenal icon David Seaman has hinted at a return to football with Hollywood-backed Wrexham following Ben Foster’s arrival at the Welsh club. Foster, who played for Wrexham at the start of his career, has re-signed for the Red Dragons until the end of the season.
The club, who are owned by star American actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, lost first-choice goalkeeper Rob Lainton to a serious knee injury. Former Manchester United and Watford star Foster has been plucked out of retirement to help their National League promotion push.
And ex-England shot-stopper Seaman has now hinted at a move to the non-league side. Taking to social media, the 59-year-old reached out to Foster and asked if the 39-year-old required help after returning to professional football.
“Do you need a GK coach?” Seaman joked before tagging Foster and Wrexham owner Reynolds on Saturday morning, hours before Foster made his second debut for the club.
