Arsenal fans think they’re winning the league after battling to win at Palace
Arsenal fans are convinced they will win the league after the Gunners battled to a 2-0 on the opening day of the Premier League season.
Mikel Arteta's side were electric for the first 30 minutes of the clash, and the Gunners took a well-deserved lead through Gabriel Martinelli. Their lead was then double late in the clash as Marc Guehi turned the ball into his own net.
And the display has convinced some Arsenal fans that this year could be their year. Gunners fans were quick to take to social media to let other fans know they were winning the league.

One fan joked: "After the opening 5 minutes I can confirm we’re gonna win the league!"
"Felt confident, first time I’ve felt confident in Arsenal for years, I will make sure to cherish this moment," a second added. While a third tweeted: "We're winning the league unbeaten with Arteta."
However, a rival fan pointed out: "Arsenal fans are hilarious. They win a game and they’re winning the league, they lose the next game and they want their manager sacked!"

The Gunners opened the Premier League season for the second year in a row – but Arteta's side managed to capture the three points this time out.
As a result, Arsenal are the first team to top the table this season.
