Arsenal fans insist ‘title is ours’ as Gunners go eight points clear of Man City
Arsenal fans are convinced the title is theirs after they moved eight points clear at the summit of the Premier League table on Sunday afternoon.
Mikel Arteta's side were a class above as they brushed aside Crystal Palace with apparent ease at the Emirates. Gabriel Martinelli, Granit Xhaka, and a Bukayo Saka brace topped off a disappointing week for Palace.
And with Manchester City out of action this weekend – due to the FA Cup – Arteta's side went eight points clear at the top. And the sizeable gap has Gunners fans dreaming of a first Premier League win in almost two decades.

One fan said: "23 more points and the title is ours. We can do it so come on you Gunners!"
"Eight solid points clear of Manchester City…The title is ours to lose now," a second added. And a third tweeted: "Arsenal are now 19 points clear of title rivals, Manchester United. Closely fought. Well done. Bye bye!"
However, another Arsenal fan was a tad more pessimistic: "Liverpool, City and Newcastle away still left. Don't be fooled, this is a tough run!"

Pep Guardiola's side have a game in hand over the Gunners – and the two sides still have to clash at the Etihad.
The Gunners are yet to best City this season – with Guardiola's side dumping them out of the FA Cup and claiming three points in the league. However, City have looked like a shell of their normal selves, and Arsenal have shown the character of champions in recent weeks.
Both sides have similar run-ins, with a number of banana-sin fixtures that could see either slip-up in the title race.
Arteta said, after the game: "Really happy, really pleased with how they reacted to Thursday. Really happy to perform the way we did after losing two big players for us."
Arsenal were dumped out of the Europa League on Thursday – meaning they are solely focused on the league. While City are still competing in the FA Cup and the Champions League.
