Angry Pep Guardiola fumes at parking ticket fine as traffic attendant laughs
Pep Guardiola applauds Manchester City's mentality following Newcastle victory
Pep Guardiola has been filmed angrily reacting to a traffic attendant seemingly asking him for a photo after handing him a parking ticket in Manchester. The Manchester City boss caused a scene by loudly opposing the idea, leaving the attendant and those nearby in hysterics.
Guardiola has enjoyed a near-perfect opening few weeks of the new season after guiding Man City to a historic treble last term.
City have started the campaign with 3-0 and 1-0 Premier League wins against Burnley and Newcastle United on either side of an inaugural UEFA Super Cup success, beating Sevilla on penalties.
And the Citizens look set to secure their third summer signing, following Josko Gvardiol and Mateo Kovacic’s arrivals.
Guardiola’s expenditure will soon hit £157million after City agreed a £55m deal for Rennes winger Jeremy Doku, who will replace Riyad Mahrez.
But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows for the Catalan coach, who may be one of the greatest coaches in history but still isn’t above the law.
He found that out the hard way on Monday when he found a traffic attendant slapping a parking ticket on his car in Manchester.

In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), Guardiola is reacting badly and seemingly questioning how the traffic attendant could’ve asked him for a picture.
It looked to be in jest as the attendant couldn’t help but burst into laugh while a third person stood nearby looking for a handshake from the Etihad Stadium legend.
But Guardiola seemed irked by his inevitable Manchester City Council fine, sternly walking over to take the ticket off his windscreen before blanking the attendant as he got into his car and shut the door.
The attendant awkwardly stood on the side of the road as the video ended, likely before Guardiola drove off as he prepares to take his Premier League champions to Sheffield United on Sunday.
