Fantasy Premier League players everywhere were fuming as the site crashed before the deadline – including tennis legend Andy Murray.
FPL managers had until 1.30pm on Saturday (November 5) afternoon to make changes to their team ahead of Gameweek 15. At least they should have done.
Early news of Erling Haaland and Phil Foden, who have 79.7% and 26.2% ownership respectively, being benched for Manchester City's Premier League match at home to Fulham saw millions rushing to adjust accordingly. Such was the demand that the servers couldn't cope.

Murray was among the majority who were unable to make any last-minute moves, and he led the outrage on Twitter. "FPL site is shocking. Crashes every week before deadline," he wrote, adding a thumbs down emoji.
One fellow player replied: "You tell ‘em!" A second echoed: "Go on Andy lad tell em tried changing my team at 1.20 and website crashed."
"It’s a joke, may as well extend the deadline if they doing that bs," commented another enraged manager. A fourth added: "It's getting so frustrating."

Others were able to make light of the situation, though, with some racquet-related puns. One cleverly joked: "I hope you have a full starting 11, but maybe tennis enough."
Another wrote: "Andy Murray knows a thing or two about bad servers @OfficialFPL. Don't worry, I'll let myself out!" And a third said: "Good server calling out bad server. I rate it."
The leaked team news did end up being true as well, leaving those who couldn't change captain or remove either Haaland or Foden from their team even more frustrated.
