- Kane’s Tottenham future remains unclear with Bayern Munich set for third bid
Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal could be set to make a sensational swoop for England captain Harry Kane, with the striker’s future at Spurs still unclear.
Kane has been the subject of much speculation this summer, with the striker linked with a move away from north London.
Manchester United have retained an interest in Kane, but have been put off by Tottenham’s asking price for their talisman, while Bayern Munich have already had two bids rejected by the club.
Now Spurs may have to brace themselves for a new name in the race, with Sky Sports reporting that Saudi side Al-Hilal are interested in signing Kane.
According to the report the club have held talks with an intermediary about the possibility of signing the 29-year-old, but no contact has been made with Tottenham yet.

Al-Hilal have been busy in the summer transfer market and have already splashed out on Premier League names, including £47m on Wolves’ Ruben Neves and recruited Kalidou Koulibaly from Chelsea in a £33m deal.
The club have also signed Serbian playmaker Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio for £34m.
Kane is currently away with Spurs on their pre-season tour, but discussions on his future remain at the centre of any story surrounding the club.
Bayern are still confident they can get a deal done for the striker, having been assured that Kane is keen on joining the German giants.
The Bundesliga side’s latest bid of £70m was rejected by Tottenham owner Daniel Levy, but the German side are expected to go back with a third bid when the club return to London.
Ange Postecoglou wants to get Harry Kane’s future at the club sorted ahead of the new season
Tottenham won’t entertain a figure less than £100m and although Bayern are unlikely to meet that figure, they believe there is room for negotiation.
Kane’s current deal with Spurs runs out at the end of the season and could leave on a free next summer if he sees out the final year of his contract in north London.
New Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou has already expressed that he wants Kane’s future resolved as quickly as possible, and admitted he is far from relaxed about the situation.
A situation that was made all the worse by a Bayern Munich reporter who brandished a Munich shirt bearing Kane’s number during the Australian’s press conference this pass week.
