A goalkeeper at the Africa Cup of Nations "ran out of the way" as Sebastien Haller scored to give the Ivory Coast the lead.
Sierra Leone keeper Mohamed Kamara appeared to run away from the goal as the former West Ham striker stabbed the ball into the bottom right-hand corner.
Haller had been thread through on goal by Crystal Palace winger Wifried Zaha before controlling the ball and finding the back of the net as it bobbled up in front of him.
Kamara had previously caught the eye during Sierra Leone's opening match against reigning champions and tournament favourites Algeria.
The 22-year-old, who plays for East End Lions in Sierra Leone, produced a string of fine saves during a man of the match performance as the Leone Stars held their opponents to a goalless draw.
However, Kamara was unable to keep another clean sheet against the Ivory Coast on Sunday, with Haller giving his side the lead after just 25 minutes.
His approach, or lack of one, to attempting to save Haller's shot caught the attention of fans on social media.
One fan tweeted: “Keeper getting out the way," followed by several crying laughing emojis.

Another sarcastically joked: "Great goalkeeping."
A third viewer queried: “Why’s the keeper just walking off…?”
Meanwhile, another fan wrote: “Keeper acting like a year 7 in goal up against a year 11 about to shoot from 6 yards.”
Sierra Leone were able to pull themselves level in the second half through Musa Noah Kamara, but fell behind again in the 65th minute as Arsenal's Nicolas Pepe restored the Ivory Coast's lead.
Sierra Leone dramatically secured a second consecutive draw, though, as Alhaji Kamara levelled things at 2-2 in the third minute of stoppage time.
This result prevented Ivory Coast from sealing their progression to the last 16 and gives Sierra Leone a strong chance of going beyond the group stage for the first time.
They play Equatorial Guinea in their final match on Thursday, while Ivory Coast face Algeria.
