Italy and France kickstart their Six Nations campaigns this afternoon as they meet in Rome.

France were runners-up last year, finishing second behind champions England on points difference.

The Azzurri have in fact gone six years without securing a victory in the competition, and their largely inexperienced squad are without star players Jake Polledri, Braam Steyn and Matteo Minozzi.
