Sydney co-captain Luke Parker headlines a fresh group of three players set to test the AFL’s strict rules on dump tackles at the tribunal.

Carlton’s Adam Cerra, Fremantle’s Jaeger O’Meara and Swans midfielder Parker were offered one-match suspensions for rough conduct over separate incidents from round 11.

Parker was cited over his tackle on Blues rival Sam Walsh, while Cerra came under scrutiny for a similar incident involving Swans ruckman Tom Hickey.

O’Meara was charged over his tackle on Melbourne’s Charlie Spargo.

The match review officer graded each of the incidents as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.

But the three players will challenge their suspensions at the tribunal.

Cerra’s looming ban puts him in doubt for under-fire Carlton’s crucial match against Melbourne on Friday night.

It could add to the Blues’ woes, with Patrick Cripps (ankle) facing a fitness test and George Hewett (concussion), Nic Newman (hamstring) and Ollie Hollands (shoulder) set to miss the MCG contest.

Sydney and Fremantle have mid-season byes this week.

Parker is hopeful of being free to play in the Swans’ match against St Kilda in round 13, while O’Meara could yet be available for the Dockers’ meeting with Richmond.

Hawthorn captain James Sicily has accepted his one-match suspension for a high bump on St Kilda’s Anthony Caminiti and will miss Saturday’s game against Port Adelaide.

Sicily’s suspension took the shine off his dominant performance against the Saints, in which he tallied a career-best 43 disposals and 22 intercept possessions.

Meanwhile, former Brisbane Lions skipper Dayne Zorko was handed a one-match sanction for making contact to the eye region of Crows opponent Luke Pedlar. It was graded as intentional conduct, low impact, and high contact.

Crows star Rory Laird was also handed a one-match ban for rough conduct on Brownlow medallist Lachie Neale. It was graded as careless conduct, medium impact, and high contact.

Dustin Martin was handed a $3000 fine ($2000 with an early plea) for striking the Power’s Daniel Houston in the second quarter of their clash.
