Full-time: Said miracle almost happened after Corey Oates scored his third try and the Broncos were attacking the Roosters line as the siren sounded. Don’t think there’s been a better games this year. Both teams should be proud. Roosters 24-20
The Roosters are in again
77th minute: Walker lays on a try for Tupouniua with a superb grubber kick near the line. Walker adds the extras again. Roosters 24-16. Be a miracle if they lose from here.
The lead changes again
75th minute: TRY! Manu somehow muscles his way over from dummy-half again to level the scores. Walker converts from out wide, despite the crowd from his home state heckling him big time. Roosters 18-16.
Another big play from Cobbo
70th minute: The exciting young winger defuses a bomb under immense pressure. Broncos 16-12
Broncos hit back
59th minute: TRY! After another line break by Staggs followed by a kick by Reynolds, Oates outleaps Naiqama to score his second try of the match. Reynolds turns four into six. Broncos 16-12.
Another try
54th minute: The Broncos crack again after sustained pressure from the Roosters. Joey Manu crashes over from dummy-half to level the scores. What a player he is. Walker converts to put the Roosters in front for the first time. Roosters 12-10.
Roosters are back in it!
49th minute: TRY! Sam Walker crosses after neat hands from several players. Boy, didn’t the Roosters need that. Momirovski converts. Only four points in it now. Broncos 10-6.
Another near miss
45th minute: The Roosters almost score again through Nat Butcher, who is denied by a great try-saving tackle by Haas. Broncos 10-0.
And we’re away again
43rd minute: The Broncos have picked up where they left off in the first half. Very solid start to the second 40 minutes. Can they keep it up, though.
Bring on Sunday!
