Late in the first quarter, a scuffle broke out between the sides and McCarthy got McIntosh high.
It means McCarthy will miss Brisbane’s clash with West Coast next weekend.
The Match Review Officer assessed the contact as intentional conduct, low impact and high contact.

Good evening!
Hello and welcome to tonight’s AFL live blog.
We’ll have rolling coverage of the Friday night match as Sydney host Geelong at the SCG.

The last time these two met, the Swans suffered their worst defeat in over 50 years bowing to the Cats by 93-points. It surpassed the 81-point margin of last year’s premiership decider.
Will Sydney finally get some revenge tonight or will Geelong once again be too strong?
Please leave a comment at any time on the blog.
Alright, let’s do this.
