The numbers favour Bulldogs
Highlighting how slow the start has been to this year for the Bulldogs is that they’re searching for back-to-back wins for the first time since last year’s finals series.
But they have had the wood over Adelaide in recent times, winning their last three encounters by an average of 47 points, and they’re aiming for four consecutive victories against the Crows for the first time since 2011.
The Dogs have also made a good start to life at their Ballart home, winning five of seven games there, including their last four – two of which were against the Crows.
Adelaide, meanwhile, are searching for back-to-back wins for the first time in more than 12 months.

Greetings, everybody
Hello everyone and welcome to our rolling live Saturday AFL mega blog for Round 6.
And don’t we have a few beauties lined up for you on what is a less cluttered Saturday than usual, as a result of games being more spread out due to Anzac Day on Monday.
First up, the Western Bulldogs and Adelaide do battle in Ballarat after both teams returned to the winners’ list last week.
In the twilight fixture, bottom-placed Port Adelaide search for their first win of the year against West Coast at Adelaide Oval.
And the best has been saved for last with arguably the match of the round between Fremantle and Carlton in the night game at Optus Stadium.
