Lando Norris looking forward to 'different responsibility' as McLaren's senior driver
McLaren have released a new livery design for the upcoming Grand Pix weekends in Singapore and Japan. For the next two events, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will race in a new ‘Stealth Mode’ scheme, as McLaren ditch their traditional colourway for black augmented against the team’s classic papaya trim.
McLaren co-designed the new livery with Web3 technology company OKX. Both brands described the switch as a “strive for excellence while embracing change and innovation”.
The MCL60 colourway was unveiled on Wednesday at an exclusive media event in Singapore. Norris and Piastri as well as representatives of McLaren and OKX were in attendance for the launch.
“Our partnership with OKX goes from strength to strength, and it’s fantastic to celebrate it with this incredible livery,” said McLaren CEO, Zak Brown. “Stealth Mode flips our race car’s colours, bringing something exciting and different to these two great races in Singapore and Japan.

“Success on the track, and in the Web3 world, is only possible through teamwork, creativity and innovation. Stealth Mode is inspired by these common principles,” added OKX’s Chief Marketing Officer, Haider Rafique.

“It’s also a way for us to celebrate the return of F1 to the Asia Pacific region, which is the epicentre of Web3 in many ways. As Stealth Mode hits the track this weekend we wish the best of luck to Lando and Oscar in what we hope will be a strong performing MCL60.”
