Lewis Hamilton’s jaw-dropping car collection from Pagani Zonda to rare Ferrari
Lewis Hamilton is the owner of a jaw-dropping car collection that includes a Pagani Zonda and a rare Ferrari model.
The Mercedes driver is hoping to win a record eighth Formula One world title in Abu Dhabi this weekend as he goes head-to-head with Max Verstappen in the season's final race.
Perhaps unsurprising for a professional racing driver, Hamilton loves cars and has built an impressive collection of personal vehicles over the years.
Explaining his love of cars, Hamilton once said: "I don’t know anything about wine. I don’t know a huge amount about art. But what I do know is cars, and I’m very particular about them.”
Hamilton's collection is believed to be worth a total of £13million, with the vehicles spread across two garages in Monaco and Los Angeles.
It is also understood that he owns a tow-truck that he uses to return the cars home if he has driven them out to an event or restaurant.
The most expensive vehicle in his collection is a 1966 Shelby 427 Cobra, which he uses while in LA and is worth £4million.
He also owns a £1.6million personalised Pagani Zonda 760 LH, which was made especially for him with purple interior and exterior.

Hamilton requested that a manual gearbox be installed after struggling with the car when he first got it, saying: “The Zonda is terrible to drive!
"It’s the best-sounding car I own, but handling-wise it’s the worst.”
Despite his career as a driver, Hamilton did once damage the car by getting into an accident back in 2015.
He is also one of a number of sports stars to own a LaFerrari, with the supercar valued at £1million.
They have a top speed of 217mph and can go from 0 to 62mph in under two and half seconds.
Hamilton has also been able to acquire a Mercedes-AMG Project One early, with the car not available to the public until 2022.
Only 275 will be made, with the car set to be valued at £2million and Hamilton having been involved in much of the design process.
He also owns another Mercedes in the form of his SLS Black, which has a 196mph top speed and costs a much lower £230,000.
His McLaren P1 is worth £2million and was purchased in 2015, with a top speed of 217mph and the ability to go 0 to 60mph in 2.7 seconds.
The second classic vehicle owned by Hamilton is his 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, which was made famous by the film Gone in 60 Seconds.
Hamilton owns a customised version of the vehicle, which caused it to come at an added cost of around £750,000.
He also owns two Mercedes-Maybachs, a motocross bike and a dune buggy in his collection of vehicles.
