Joe Burrow has shot to fame over the past two years with the Cincinnati Bengals, and – against all odds – managed to help his team reach the coveted Super Bowl this year. The QB has been dating Olivia Holzmacher for about five years, and over the years, she’s developed a quirky good luck charm.

The Bengals have reached their first Super Bowl since 1988 this year, although they’re yet to win a title game in the franchise’s history.

Despite the Bengals coming bottom of the AFC North in 2020 – losing 11 of their 16 matches – they came out firing in 2021, and managed to finish top of the league.

The Bengals’ success has been largely attributed to Burrow’s incredible season – showcasing the talent that led him to the No 1 draft pick in 2020.

During this year’s regular season, Burrow had the highest pass completion rate of any starting QB in the NFL, and the third-highest yards-per-game.

Holzmacher has been by Burrow’s side for both of his two seasons in the NFL.

Earlier this season, she was snapped by a friend ahead of the Bengal’s match against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

She was holding an orange drink koozie, complete with Burrow’s face.

Holzmacher’s friend posted a picture of the koozie on Instagram, captioned: “A good luck coozie.”

Burrow’s girlfriend later posted a picture of her good luck charm directly onto her own Instagram story.

She also frequently posts behind-the-scenes Bengals footage on game days, making her a much-loved character for Cincinnati fans around the world.

It’s believed that Burrow and Holzmacher have been dating since 2017, meeting at LSU college.

Holzmacher’s social media is filled with cute photographs with her boyfriend, including one particularly touching snap from a few years ago.

Shortly after Burrow was picked in the NFL Draft by the Bengals, Holzmacher sent him a sweet message on Instagram.

She wrote: “Tonight a new chapter starts for you! Thankful to be by your side joe and to be a part of the past three seasons.

“I’ve had the best experiences and met the best people along the way.

“So excited for what the future holds. Tonight will be once in a lifetime night for you.”

The Bengals won their first NFL post-season game since 1990 on January 15 this year, beating the Las Vegas Raiders in the Wild Card round.

Cincinnati stunned the Tennessee Titans in Overtime the following week for the NFL Divisional Round.

Burrow and the Bengals were huge underdogs going into the Conference match against the Kansas City Chiefs on January 30.

But, a stunning second-half comeback meant the game finished 27-24 to the Bengals, lining up their first Super Bowl appearance since 1988.
