WWE legend ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan has prostate cancer and needs surgery

WWE legend ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan has revealed he has prostate cancer and will undergo surgery on Friday.
In a video clip alongside wife Debra, the Hall of Famer said he has known about the cancer for several months.
He also said that he would be taking a break from social media after going under the knife.
In the emotional clip, he said: “Hi folks. You know, Debra and I, we always share the good times with you, but today we got to share some bad times.
"I’ve been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and I’m having my surgery tomorrow.
"Actually, it’s been going on for a couple of months now, and Debra and I have been living with it and getting ready.
"But reality is here, and I’m going down to Charleston tomorrow to have my cancer surgery.
"So folks, I know you’ve been thinking and praying for me about it this last surgery. Please think of me this Friday as I go get my cancer surgery down in Charleston.
"Debra will keep everybody updated, but I want to take a break from social media. So thanks for all the thoughts and prayers, and we’ll see you down the road with the grace of God and the skill of the doctors. Love you.”
Duggan was the winner of the WWF's first Royal Rumble in 1988 having made his debut with the corporation a year earlier.
He also wrestled for the WCW organisation and was crowned US heavyweight champion in 1994.
Though he came back to WWE in 2005 and fought there for four years before moving to the independent circuit.
He was named in the 2011 Hall of Fame class having been one of the most popular performers during the Eighties.
