Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen had ‘ironclad prenup’ to get divorce done quickly
NFL legend Tom Brady and now ex-wife Gisele Bundchen reportedly had an 'ironclad prenup' in place which allowed them to swiftly finalise their divorce.
Last month, after 13 years of marriage and two children together, it was confirmed the couple had officially filed for divorce documents. The split came after Brazilian model Bundchen said she would like him to be 'more present' in family life after the icon decided to reverse his retirement in March.
Back in September, she told Elle Magazine: "Obviously, I have my concerns—this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present. I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again."

Despite both boasting a huge net worth though, it seems that a rock-solid prenup was in place to ensure the separation could be sorted out quickly. A source close to the couple told Page Six: "There was an ironclad prenup set down before they married in 2009.
"They both have their own separate business entities, so the separation of their wealth wasn’t that complicated in the end. The only other major factor was dividing up their massive property portfolio."
Indeed, despite the divorce the couple will continue to build their £15 million 'billionaire bunker' property in Indian Creek Island in Miami.

They brought the property in 2020 and demolished it before the reconstruction began, and it's believed Brady, 45, will keep the mansion.
The celebrity pair also own a home in the Bahamas, one at the Yellowstone Club in Montana, and an apartment in New York City. It is also believed they will share joint custody of children Benjamin, 12 and Vivian, 9.
Brady, who also, has a 15-year-old son named Jack with actress Bridget Moynahan, is widely considered the greatest NFL quarterback of all time, with seven Super Bowl titles to his name. He and Bundchen married back in 2009, having been set up on a blind date three years earlier.
