The legend of Khamzat Chimaev continues to grow as stories of his dominance in training mirror his incredible ascent in the UFC.

Chimaev has been described by Dana White as the best prosepect he has ever seen and the welterweight rising star is impressive Darren Till too.

Till, looking to reinvigorate his career after losing his las two fights to Robert Whittaker and Derek Brunson, has moved to Sweden to train with Chimaev and Co at Allstars Gym in Stockholm.

Michael Bisping says he has been hearing ‘truly terrifying things’ about Chimaev

Evidently he has been in touch with Michael Bisping, a man he is trying to emulate by becoming the second British UFC champion.

Bisping recently said on his podcast: ‘I am hearing things about Khamzat that are truly terrifying.

‘As I said Darren Till is out there, I’ve got a bunch of friends out there in Sweden, they’re filming, Blockasset is a company that I’m involved with.

‘They are calling me up and saying ‘holy f***ing s***, Khamzat is the real deal’.

‘He works his ass off, trains like a motherf***er, lifting weights, pushing everyone in the room, great stand-up, great wrestling.’

Till and Chimaev are both better for the experience, with ‘The Gorilla’ telling Blockasset: ‘Lad, got my a*** kicked. That’s what it’s all about though innit? Getting it done.’

Chimaev added: ‘Work was good, nice to work with the best guys in the world. I work on the grappling and wrestling, he learn something.

‘Next time we work on the striking, I learn something. It works like that, I am happy he is here.

Till suffered a defeat by Derek Brunson in his last fight but was injured at the time

Chimaev is 10-0, with four wins in the UFC and he dismantled Li Jingliang in his last fight.

He has looked sensational and many regard him to be the next big thing in the organisation. Chimaev does not have a fight announced but he is widely expected to take on No 2-ranked welterweight Gilbert Burns in his next bout.

It remains to be seen when Till will next be in action but the Liverpool fan favourite is concentrating on getting fully fit again having entered the Brunson fight with a knee issue.
