World jui-jitsu champion Dillon Danis has called Jake Paul a ‘bull*******’ as the former vowed to give the YouTube sensation turned pro-boxer his ‘biggest payday’.
Danis, who trains alongside Irish MMA icon Conor McGregor, insisted that Paul ‘knows what would really happen’ if the YouTuber were to fight him.
Talk of a fight between the pair was initiated after an altercation in Los Angeles last year when Paul allegedly ‘threw toilet paper’ at Danis. Danis, who is currently suffering from a knee injury which has kept him out of action, said he would fight either ‘Jake or Logan [Paul]’.

Danis made his professional Octagon debut back in 2018 and currently boasts a record of just two MMA wins, both by submission. Despite this modest record, the black-belt jiu-jitsu fighter is frustrated at Paul’s reluctance to actually step in a ring with him.
‘You know what’s funny, the first time he ever called anyone out in boxing it was me,’ Danis told Plan Bri Uncut. ‘We talk about fighting all the time then he goes and fights the easier fights.
‘No one can sell a fight like me. If me and him fought it would be the biggest payday of his life. The amount of hype going into it and the s*** talking.’
During the episode Danis made his feelings about Paul’s legitimacy as a fighter crystal clear— when asked by the host if he even respected Paul as a fighter Danis replied ‘No.’
‘I respect his marketing and what he does. He’s not a stupid kid but he’s not a fighter and he knows that,’ he added.
Twenty-four-year-old Jake Paul, who has 20.4 million YouTube subscribers, first took to the ring as an amateur two years ago. After the successful amateur fight that saw him defeat fellow YouTuber Deji Olatunji by TKO, Paul decided to turn pro in 2020 and his professional record now stands at 4-0.
Paul’s next fight will be the highly-anticipated grudge match between himself and Tommy Fury on December 17.
Tommy Fury, brother of world heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, has seven wins from seven professional fights, four of them coming by TKO.
Tommy Fury made his US debut on the undercard of Paul’s last fight against Tyron Woodley in August. The ex-Love Island star won on points against Anthony Taylor, who has since tried to throw a late punch by claiming that, in his opinion, ‘Jake Paul is twice as good as Fury.’
