Stakes racing in each of the five states of Australia on Saturday
The highly anticipated clash between horsepower heavyweights Verry Elleegant, Addeybb and Sir Dragonet will be the headline act on a gigantic Saturday of thoroughbred racing across the nation and Racenet has the fields and form for all the major meetings online.
The $4 million Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m) is the main event on the second day of The Championships where three other Group 1s will be decided.
The $2 million Sydney Cup (3200m) and two $1 million events – the Australian Oaks (2400m) and Queen Of The Turf Stakes (1600m) are set for decision.
The other five races on the card are all features, including the $1 million Group 2 Percy Sykes Stakes (1200m), $1 million Group 2 Arrowfield 3YO Stakes (1200m), the $500,000 Provincial Championships Final (1400m) and the Group 2 Sapphire Stakes (1200m).
There is Stakes racing scheduled in all the other major racing jurisdictions across Australia on Saturday.
At Caulfield the Listed Bel Esprit Stakes (1100m) will be run while at Eagle Farm things are starting to hot up with the Listed double – the Daybreak Lover (1400m) and Ascot Handicap (1000m).
It is set to be a big day at Morphettville with two Group 3 contests – the R N Irwin Stakes (1100m) and the Auraria Stakes (1800m) as well as the Listed Redelva Stakes (1100m) all programmed.
The Group 3 WA Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m) rounds out Australia’s black-type action on Saturday at Ascot.

RANDWICK
The Randwick track was rated a soft (5) at acceptance time. The rail will be in the three-metre position on Saturday.

The Eagle Farm track was rated a good (4) at acceptance time. The rail will be in the half-a-metre position on Saturday.
Saturday’s nine-race program commences at 11.38am with the final event to be run at 4.38pm.

MORPHETTVILLE
The Morphettville track was rated a good (4) at acceptance time. The rail will be in the 10-metre position from the 1200m to the winning post and seven-metres for the remainder of the course proper on Saturday.
Saturday’s nine-race program commences at 12.01pm (12.31pm AEST) with the final event to be run at 5.00pm (5.30pm AEST).
