Champion jockey William Buick was the toast of one Betfair punter on Sunday when he rode four winners from four rides at Yarmouth at combined odds of 1,000-1.
The customer placed a £10 accumulator on all four horses and landed a cool £10,000 in the process.
His first selection, Lambert, saw the multiple move in the right direction when the favourite ran out a convincing four-length winner at odds of 5-2.
His next winner, Renesmee, was less convincing but saw Buick at his brilliant best to prevail by a head on the 7-1 chance.

The third leg, 9-2 shot Royal Symbol, saw another good ride from the champion jockey, running out a length winner. In the fourth and final leg the punter didn’t have any worries as Buick’s mount, the favourite Red Maids, ran out a convincing winner at odds of 100-30.
Betfair spokesman, Barry Orr, said: ‘William Buick is the reigning champion jockey and has a big following among punters. Obviously, this customer is one of them and a with him landing a 1000-1 acca he is, no doubt, just raising a glass to William.’
Buick has ridden 71 winners in the period of the Flat season which counts towards the champion jockey crown. That makes him 20 clear of nearest rival Tom Marquand. Betfair make Buick 1-4 to retain his title.
Buick remians in red hot form on the Flat and has won six races in a row at York and Yarmouth
