Jett Hatton’s best bets for Sale Wednesday April 7

Form analyst Jett Hatton runs his eye over the Wednesday card at Sale.

BEST BET

KNOWITALL JACK (R5 No.1 – $6)

Former NSW galloper having his first start down south and his form is good enough to be winning this. Always thereabouts in midweek company in Sydney and this is the easiest race the gelding has contested in a while.

NEXT BEST

COIN COLLECTOR (R7 No.1 – $3.70)

Danny O’Brien-trained gelding fought hard last time out but just found 2500m beyond him. The step back in trip suits and his record backs that up, while he’ll get every chance from barrier three with Damian Lane in the saddle.

VALUE BET

ANGRY ANNIE (R4 No.1 – $10)

West Australian raiders have had a good record in Victoria the past few months and Angry Annie can continue the trend. Flies first-up and is drawn to receive all favours in running. Good each-way hope at double figures.

THE JOCKEY – MICHAEL POY

Poy is locked in for a Doncaster Mile ride at Randwick on Saturday and can build some momentum with a win or two at Sale.

HACKERESS (R1 No.7 – $21), SWEET SIXTEEN (R2 No.8 – $2.50), MR CHARISMA (R6 No.11 – $34), YOUNG HOSTESS (R7 No.11 – $7)
