Frankie Dettori net worth: How much money has the jockey made?
Frankie Dettori is likely to go down as one of the greatest jockeys of all time. The Italian has amassed a huge fortune and broke countless records during his nearly 40-year career in horse racing.
There are fewer familiar faces in the sport than Dettori and his celebrity status as a sporting hero has earned him a place on ITV’s 2023 edition of ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ which starts this evening.
The 52-year-old will be joined in the Australian jungle by celebrities such as former politician Nigel Farage, former Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson, pop star and TV presenter Marvin Hughes and ex-world boxing champion Tony Bellew.
Dettori is understood to be a late arrival alongside Bellew despite flying to Australia earlier this month to attend Melbourne for the Melbourne Cup.
With the horse racing legend heading into the jungle, we have taken a closer look at who he is and how much money he’s earned from his distinguished career.
Who is Frankie Dettori?
Lanfranco (Frankie) Dettori was born on December 15, 1970 in Milan, Italy.

Dettori announced earlier this year that he would retire at the end of the 2023 season, with the Breeders’ Cup set to be his last ride, but made a sensational U-turn last month, saying he will continue to race in the US from next year.
