Just in: Starc set to replace Boland in Australian XI
Mitchell Starc has replaced Scott Boland as the only change in the Australian team for the second Test as Australia attempt to go 2-0 up at Lord’s.
It is an ideal bowling day at Lord’s with a green-tinged pitch and, more importantly, solid cloud cover that is forecast to stay all day.
Boland was Australia’s best bowler in the World Test Championship final against India early this month.
However, in the first Test at Edgbaston, he was Australia’s most expensive, conceding almost six runs an over and claiming just two wickets.
