YouTuber who almost fought Mayweather to make pro debut on AJ vs Usyk 2 card

Rich YouTube star Rashed Belhasa was meant to fight Floyd Mayweather this year, but will instead feature on the undercard for Anthony Joshua's rematch against Oleksandr Usyk.

The YouTuber known as 'Money Kicks' will take on Kyle Paevie who will be representing the United Kingdom, but it's fair to say that it's not been the greatest year for the Brit. Paevie, who debuted in November 2021, has fought three times up to this point but has lost all three of those fights: two via knockout and one via decision.

Belhasa has won both of his warmup fights, although neither were on a professional level, and especially not of this magnitude. But the YouTube star will fight on one of the biggest cards of them all, as AJ looks to seek revenge in Saudi Arabia, just as he did against Andy Ruiz.

Belhasa beat fellow Emirate YouTube star Anas Elshayib via unanimous decision before knocking out Ajmal Khan three months later in his fights up until this point, and has a big ego to carry. The youngster reportedly has a net worth of $4million (£2.9m) due to his YouTube career, but he also has lived a life of luxury thanks to the riches of his billionaire father.

His successful father is known for owning a stunning mansion, that is understood to have a full size football pitch within its ground as well as a zoo that houses around 500 animals. Celebrities have regularly visited the property during Bellhasa's lifetime, including Lionel Messi, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Anthony Joshua and even Floyd Mayweather.

But the fight with Mayweather never materialised, and after Logan Paul claimed that the fighter had still not paid him for their exhibition, perhaps it was a lucky escape financially for Belhasa. However, he will finally make his pro debut on August 20, and he announced the news on Instagram.

"Finally announcing my Professional Debut 20th August in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia," Belhasa said. "Extremely proud to be featuring on Joshua v Usyk card.

"Put in months of hard work and hope to make my country proud on 20th August and fly the flag high for all the Emiratis & Arabs around the world. Big thanks to my team and everyone involved! It's go time."

It's an honour for Belhasa to be given such a huge platform, and he will share the ring with many up and coming boxers on August 20. British boxer Callum Smith will also be fighting, with the winner will become the WBC mandatory challenger at light-heavyweight.
