Reports had suggested that undefeated Mayweather will earn £3.7million from the fight

However, speaking on ‘Impaulsive’ podcast, Paul revealed those estimates are ‘way off’ and that he will be earning a ‘good amount’ from the fight.

‘Everyone wants to know about the money for this fight,’ he said.

‘Everyone wants to know what got Floyd to take this fight, was it the money? I’ll say this, you’re way off with your estimates, and you’ll never know.

‘I’d probably would have done this fight for free. It’s an iconic opportunity, this is some legacy s***. I’d have done this for free.

The same reports calculated Paul would pocket £148,000 from the showdown on February 20, but he insists that is inaccurate and he will earn a ‘good amount’

‘This is the coolest thing in the world. I get to grace the ring with one of the best boxers of all time and attempt to take his head off. But I didn’t take it for free, I’m going to make a good amount.’

Podcast co-host Mike Majlak went a little further into the numbers and said: ‘Eight figures – you’re not going to say it, but eight figures.’

Paul’s brother Jake meanwhile has caused quite the stir in UFC circles by criticising high-profile names from president Dana White to star Conor McGregor.

But Logan admitted he does not share those feelings and revealed his desire to step into the octagon one day.

Paul also criticised his brother Jake for criticising high-profile names in the UFC world

‘He [Jake] p***** off Dana White,’ Paul said.

‘Now Dana has grouped us together which sucks. I love Dana White, I love the UFC. Now Dana thinks we’re the same person.

‘We’re so different. I love the UFC fights. I want to do a UFC fight one day. I’m not saying now, let me get my skills up. Dana, take me back.

‘I’m not Jake! Please. Bro, he’s given me tickets to go to UFC fights before. F***! F***! I love Conor McGregor dude.’
