Jake Paul pranked lightweight boxing prospect Ryan Garcia last year by pretending to need hospital treatment after taking a left hook to the body in a sparring session.
Garcia, who stopped 2012 Olympic Gold medalist Luke Campbell with a similar shot back in January, has grown close with the YouTuber in recent years as Jake himself stepped into the ring.
However, during a session in June of last year, it was Garcia who would unwittingly step into the world of Paul in being part of a set-up similar to Jake’s YouTube days.
After clutching his stomach following a free punch, Paul put his head into the wall and pretended to be in pain, before a follow up snap showed him on a stretcher being taken into an ambulance.
He then said: ”Yo, paramedic, before we go I just wanna tell my friend you just got pranked b****!"
Garcia looked gobsmacked, with Jake shouting: "that's what we do! Welcome to YouTube."
Ahead of his impressive win over Ben Askren, Garcia stated that Conor McGregor ‘can’t box’ and wouldn’t be able to knock-out his friend Jake.
“People can say whatever they want. When I watched Conor fight Mayweather. Conor can't box. He can't box,' Garcia told SportsJOE.
“If Conor was smart, he'd ask Jake Paul to go in the octagon with him. If you're the bigger star you should do that because Conor is not that good of a boxer in my opinion.
“I understand that it was against Floyd Mayweather, but your punches didn't even look good. Like when you were throwing them, they didn't have no torque on them.
“Can you make improvements? Of course, anybody can. How much can you? I don't know. He steps into the ring again with anybody good, he's not going to win. He's just not.”

“I think him and Jake Paul, if the brings the same fight he brought to Floyd against Jake Paul, that's more competitive. I promise you,' Garcia added.
“I’ll put a hundred thousand dollars he won't knock out Jake Paul. You can mark it down right now. I'll put a hundred thousand he won't be able to knock out Jake Paul.
“Will he beat him? Maybe. He won't knock him out though.”
