Tyson Fury may remain undefeated after seeing off Derek Chisora – but he's got no interest in taking on I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

The world heavyweight champion has seen off every challenge he's had in the ring, including Chisora three times over after he stopped him in the 10th round of their trilogy bout at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday (December 3) night.

A Bushtucker trial, however, would be a step too far for Fury, who is a self-admitted scaredy-cat when it comes to creepy crawlies. He revealed after his victory that he snubbed keen ITV chiefs for that reason.

"I turned it down because I don’t like bugs, creepy crawlies, snakes, rats, lizards. Anything that moves on the floor I turn into a boy. It’s not for me," said Fury.

Reports linked The Gypsy King with a stint in the jungle in 2016, amid his hiatus from boxing due to mental health issues, and in 2019 after his brother Tommy had appeared on fellow reality TV show Love Island.

Ahead of I'm a Celeb's return to our screens last month, Fury's wife Paris let slip about an approach he had during an appearance on Loose Women. She said: "Tyson did get offered to go in the jungle a few years ago.

"I think he would be stone useless, I have got to be truthful. He is horrified by animals, creepy crawlies, anything that's not the norm.

"One time a rat ran from under the shed outside, he jumped on a chair and squealed like a girl. If he went in the jungle, everyone would starve!"

While many fans would have revelled at the prospect of Fury joining former health secretary Matt Hancock for the most recent series, he's sticking to boxing for now.

And a highly-anticipated undisputed bout against Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk could be up next for him after the pair squared off post-fight at the weekend.
